School Based Registered Nurse | Sumter SC | 24-24 School Year | Offering $35/Hour

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Sumter, SC that is in need of a licensed registered nurse for the 24-25 school year. This position will be full time, covering 4 school locations, working with a K-12 caseload. The position is scheduled to start in August and will be contracted through the end of the 24-25 school year. We are looking for candidates who have an active RN license + active CPR/AED certifications. Additional details about the caseload, duties + responsibilities of the position can be discussed during an interview. The position will offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $35/hour + healthcare benefits.   • Candidate must be prepared to assist with various medical needs, including but not limited to; vent, trach, non ambulatory, diabetes care, allergy care, seizures, NPO, GERD, Partial Trisomy 18, hearing impairment, wheelchairs, G-tube feeding, toileting, lifting, diapering, repositioning, bus riding, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Active RN license required
  • Active CPR/AED certification
  • In schools experience preferred
  • Fingerprinting, drug screen & background check will be required of all candidates
  • Special education experience required
  • Interest in schools and education preferred
